Web Report on Orientation Programme

The Suncity School, Sector -54 had organised an Orientation Programme for the parents who have enrolled their child for the session 2019-2020, on Saturday, 19^th January 2019. The aim of the programme was to familiarize the parents with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-curricular activities.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome note followed by  prayers. The Head, Elementary Years Programme, Ms. Sangeeta Bagchi, addressed the gathering. The students of Kindergarten presented an assembly.

The parents were briefed about the rules and regulations of the school and also about the safety and security measures adopted by the school for the children. Later, the teachers gave an overview of the various subjects like English, Mathematics, Hindi and co-curricular activities which gave them an assurance that the curriculum involves self-directed, hands-on learning activities which not only gives vent to the creative talents and energies but also helps in the holistic development of the child.

Overall, it was a fruitful meeting and the parents were satisfied after attending the Orientation Programme.
